Mandrc rules (Revised 2010)
1. The Club shall be called the Midland Area Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club. Its objections being the promotion and encouragement of the Breeding and Exhibition of Netherland Dwarf rabbits within the Midland Areas.
2. The Club shall consist of Members in the areas directed by the National Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club.
3. The annual Subscription (Membership) shall be payable in advance on the first day of January each year. Any member who has not paid his/her subscription by the first day of March shall cease to be a member and his/her name will be removed from the Members list. The Club retains the right to refuse membership without stating reasons and subject to on appeal at the law. Juveniles under the age of 16 years old can become Members of the Juvenile section for the current subscription. This confers to any voting rights or inclusion on the Judges Panel.
4. Supporting Members from out of the Midland areas can join and pay the annual subscription, they will receive a Yearbook and can place advertisements within it if they wish, they may also take Midland rosettes if they are CC winners, but cannot receive Midland Club trophies or register Champions.
5. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall be held in connection with a Midland Stock Show. Presentation of trophies will also take place at the AGM. The Committee may also convene a Special General Meeting of the Members at any time or place but at least one month’s notice in writing shall be provided to the Fanciers ‘Journal’. An Extraordinary General Meeting may also be called on a motion signed by at least 12 Members. No other business may be discussed at this meeting.
6. The management of the Club shall be in the hands of a President, 3 Vice Presidents, Secretary/Treasurer, Chairman, Press Rep, Auditor and a Committee of five Members, a Cup Steward and a Yearbook Editor. The Judge’s Panel shall consist of six Judges in addition to any that may be elected to the National Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club.
7. All the Officials shall be elected annually, including Stock Show Judges. A Judge may only judge a Stock Show every second year. The ballot shall be concluded at least 14 days before the Adult Stock Show. Nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary before July 1st each year. Ballot papers will be sent out to all paid up Members. All retiring Officials shall automatically be re-nominated each year, unless the Secretary is notified otherwise in writing by the nomination date. A person must have been a fully paid up Member of the Midland Area Club for two consecutive years before holding office or becoming a Midland Club Judge.
8. The Executive shall be empowered to conduct the business of the Club at Executive meetings, five Members to constitute a Quorum, or by postal communications whichever shall be decided with any matter not covered by the Rules of the Club.
9. Club support which consists of Challenge Certificates for all colours scheduled at all Open Pen Shows which have engaged either a National or Midland Area Panel Judge and have at least two Dwarf reed classes. A certificate shall be granted for each colour class Adult or Under Five Months scheduled at all National and Area Club Shows.
10. A Midland Area Club Certificate of Merit can be awarded by Midland Area Judges at their discretion at Star Shows if the Best Dwarf is worthy of a MIDLAND AREA SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP. A Midland Area Supreme Championship will be awarded to a Dwarf rabbit which has won seven Certificate of Merits under four different Midland Panel Judges. Further Supreme Championships for the same Dwarf rabbit could be registered if it wins five more Certificates of Merit under three different Panel Judges. No support to be granted to Shows on the same day as Midland Area Club Shows.
11. Ordinary Championships can be claimed by the Owner of a Dwarf rabbit which has won five Challenge Certificates under three different National or Midland Area Panel Judges. Not more than two Certificates issued at Young Stock Shows to count. Championships may be registered at the current fee by Members living within the Midland Area.
